1st International AA Forum

Any person who has a desire to stop drinking can be a participant of the forum. The forum language is Russian. The aim of our forum is to give an opportunity to members of AA and any other 12 Steps Communities, or people who desire to follow way of sobriety, to communicate with each other.
The forum works on-line and by e-mail. Newcomers should register.
Forum participants try to follow the rules of AA group (based upon 12 Traditions). Exceptions are the chat-sections (for example, “smoking-room” section).
The main part of the forum is twelve sections: one section for each of 12 Steps. There are special sections for beginners, section with FAQ, Daily Thoughts section and on-line speakers meeting.
Overeaters Anonymous, Debtors Anonymous and Emotional Compulsives Anonymous have their own sections on our forum pages.
Participants can subscribe on any themes of the forum.

Мы в своей работе руководствуемся 3-й традицией - участвовать в наших собраниях может каждый, кто ХОЧЕТ НЕ ПИТЬ АЛКОГОЛЬ, независимо от пола, возраста, вероисповедания. Участвовать в нашей группе могут и те, кто не понимает русского языка - но служение на группе не предусматривает перевода писем - вся переписка происходит на русском языке.

Техника работы группы - почтовая рассылка. Новый участник дает ведущему свой e-mail - так он становится новым участником группы. Все участники группы пишут ведущему. Ведущий не редактирует письма; только приписывает в конце адрес группы и рассылает письмо по всем адресам участников группы.

Темы собрания меняются каждые 10 дней - это обсуждение Шагов, Традиций и свободная тема. Каждый участник собрания имеет право выступить не по заданной теме, а рассказать о том, что волнует его сегодня.

Vesvalo is a Russian speaking e-mail group of Alcoholics Anonymous, guided by the third tradition. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

All correspondence occurs in Russian, however anyone who wishes to attend is welcome. Translation services are not offered though, so a basic understanding of the Russian language or a good translation program would be very helpful.

Vesvalo is a moderated e-mail group. Participants send their contributions to the moderator who, in turn, forwards them to the group participants (without editing.) The discussion topics vary by 10 day cycles, starting with the Steps, the Traditions and then a free theme. Everyone has the
right to share on the discussion-topic or whatever else may be on their mind and troubling them.
